Job summary

Novus Print: Montague Gardens in Cape Town seeks a Lithography Web Offset Printer to operate presses in the Press Department. The role reports to the Shift Leader - Press and involves running, fault-finding, colour/registration control, and maintenance within an FMCG printing environment.

Requirements include Matric and a trade qualification in Lithography Web Offset, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in web offset and at least 2 years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• Trade qualification in Lithography Web Offset or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in a press web offset environment
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run and fault-find on Web Offset presses.
• Control colour and registration during printing of magazines and commercial work.
• Operate presses at set production rates and standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards in production.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment.
