Experienced Travel Expert Luxury Travel Company (Remote Cape Town)

Salary : R40000 Negotiable Depending on Experience

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an Experienced Travel Expert to join a leading luxury travel company. This is a remotebased position in Cape Town offering the opportunity to design and sell highend tailormade itineraries across Southern and East Africa as well as other bucketlist destinations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned travel consultant with deep destination knowledge outstanding communication skills and a proven track record in bespoke itinerary planning and highlevel customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

Create highquality customized itineraries tailored to a wide range of traveler profiles

Manage the full sales process : itinerary planning costing refinement confirmation and posttravel engagement

Convert warm leads through email telephone and video consultations

Present detailed compelling travel proposals with supporting information and expert guidance

Deliver toptier client service throughout the booking journey to foster repeat and referral business

Proactively expand product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and developments

Maintain current commercial knowledge of properties flight options and logistical planning

Build strong relationships with colleagues and trade partners while contributing to a positive team culture

Participate in regular research trips to maintain firsthand destination expertise

Essential Experience and Skills :

Minimum of 4 years experience in a tailormade travel consultant role

Proven experience designing complex itineraries in Southern and East Africa

Firsthand travel knowledge of key destinations within subSaharan Africa

Demonstrated success in a targetdriven sales environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail with exceptional customer service standards

Strong IT skills and comfort with digital communication tools

Wellorganized with strong time management abilities

Resultsdriven and proactive work ethic

Desired :

Knowledge of the Indian Ocean and Indian Subcontinent

Experience with GDS / flight operating systems
