Job description

To identify and source potential distributors and importers in target South African markets. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, developing sales channels, establishing relationships with potential importers and distributors, and ensuring that products reach the desired markets efficiently.

You will be responsible for :

• Searching for potential importers and distributors that can import and distribute the company’s products.
• Conducting in-depth market research to identify market segments and potential partners to distribute and import the company’s products.
• Assessing potential importers and distributors' reputations, experience, and logistical capabilities.
• Conducting due diligence, including checking references, and past performance of prospective customers.
• Establishing strong relationships with identified importers and distributors, fostering long-term business partnerships.
• Negotiating terms of agreements, such as pricing, product delivery schedules, and service levels to ensure win-win outcomes.

The Profile

Key Requirements :

• You have at least 3 years experience within a Sales Operations / Sales Support role, ideally within the FMCG and Manufacturing industry.
• You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
• You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
• You are willing to undertake more than 60% travel.
