About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, including arts, crafts, music, and early literacy, to promote cognitive and social development. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in both indoor and outdoor environments. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences. Assist with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, and bedtime procedures. Manage children's schedules, including transportation to and from school or extracurricular activities if applicable. Maintain a clean and organised play area and children's rooms. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns. Administer basic first aid and manage minor illnesses or injuries as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Nanny or Early Childhood Educator, with excellent references. Formal qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of child development stages and best practices in childcare. First Aid and CPR certification (current). A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to create engaging and educational play-based learning activities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Must be patient, reliable, responsible, and genuinely fond of children. Willingness to undergo a background check and provide a police clearance certificate.
