Role Purpose

The individual will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and growing a client base for Momentum Medical Aid and its complementary products. This includes generating new business, providing after-sales service, and ensuring client retention, increased market share, and contribution to long-term business objectives. The role involves offering clients across different market segments (middle-income, affluent, professional, and business) expert advice through sound financial planning.

This position operates within a franchise environment focusing on health solutions. In line with our Financial Wellness philosophy, we aim to create personalized success journeys for each client by delivering excellent experiences through ongoing engagement on their financial needs.

Requirements
  • Matric / equivalent
  • FAIS requirements based on DOFA date
  • FSCA-approved qualification
  • Relevant regulatory examinations (RE5), if already working in financial services
  • At least 2 years' experience as a financial advisor
  • Large, solid business, social, and close contact networks
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients to determine financial goals, needs, and risk tolerance
  • Provide strategic advice on financial products like Medical aid, Health insurance, Health Saver, Gap cover Insurance, etc.
  • Prepare and review financial plans for accuracy and suitability
  • Respond to client queries and resolve issues
  • Support investment professionals and cultivate client relationships
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their financial needs
  • Sell products aligned with clients' financial requirements
  • Ensure compliance with legislative regulations and all requirements
