Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction & Hosting
Provide a seamless, personalised experience for all guests by building relationships, remembering names, and ensuring every request is met with warmth and efficiency.
Lobby & Public Area Presence
Be a constant, welcoming presence in the lobby and public areas, ensuring cleanliness, music, ambience, and overall presentation are at their best.
VIP & Group Coordination
Personally welcome VIPs, groups, and crew arrivals with tailored check-ins, room allocations, and thoughtful touches such as room drops and turndowns.
Guest Profiling & Communication
Manage guest profiles, pre-arrival WhatsApp communication, and departure follow-ups. Ensure information is updated for future stays and shared across departments.
Requests & Complaints Management
Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and special requirements, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
Travel Desk Liaison
Coordinate with travel partners to curate, plan, and book tours, transfers, and Cape Town experiences. Maintain accurate daily records and service provider relationships.
Operational Support
Assist with Opera system functions including check-ins, check-outs, reports, and room allocations. Maintain clear handovers and communication with the Guest Experience Manager and fellow team members.
