Expeditor (Junior Controller)

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Expeditor (Junior Controller) to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting and coordinating the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery. While a certificate or diploma could be an advantage, we also welcome candidates with relevant experience and skills.

Responsibilities :

1. Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule and expedite the movement of goods.
2. Monitor and track the status of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
3. Communicate with suppliers and carriers to address any delays or issues in transportation.
4. Provide support to logistics controllers and coordinators in managing logistics operations.
5. Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
7. Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.
8. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and warehouse, to facilitate the flow of goods.
9. Assist in resolving logistical issues and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
10. Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the operations manager.

Requirements :

1. Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (advantageous).
2. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain processes is a plus.
