Job summary

Placements24, a reputable property development firm, is seeking a Property Development Manager to oversee projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership to drive the full development lifecycle from site acquisition to handover.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and local authorities, manage budgets and schedules, and develop marketing strategies for completed developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of SA property development project management experience.
• Expertise in site analysis, zoning regulations, construction methodologies, and project finance.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with PM software and knowledge of Richards Bay market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate development sites and conduct feasibility studies.
• Oversee land acquisitions, including negotiation and due diligence.
• Coordinate design and planning with architects, engineers, and planners.
• Manage construction, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain permits and approvals.
• Develop marketing and sales strategies for completed developments.
