Job Title : Executive Office Manager : CFO's Office

Job Location : Gauteng, Johannesburg

Deadline : June 06

Requirements :

  • A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Financial Management / Financial Accounting or related qualification, which is an added advantage.
  • Appropriate junior managerial level experience (Assistant Director equivalent) in finance and/or office management/administration within finance.
  • A valid driver's license.

Duties :

  • Prepare and consolidate financial reports on behalf of the CFO.
  • Act as the formal communication channel between the CFO's office and other departments and organizations.
  • Compile briefing notes and other financial documentation to prepare the CFO for meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of programs under the CFO's jurisdiction.
  • Undertake research in the financial environment and inform the CFO of relevant outcomes to strengthen the branch’s position.
  • Represent the CFO at meetings as required.
  • Consolidate all Chief Director's reports to produce monthly and quarterly branch reports.
  • Ensure efficient records management and manage the flow of correspondence, documents, and reports.
  • Coordinate and organize office activities.
  • Develop the work plan for the unit, ensuring effective prioritization and resource planning.
  • Identify training and development needs for the unit.
  • Compile monthly cash-flow and expenditure projections for the CFO's office.
  • Manage compliance with finance, asset management, supply chain, and procurement regulations and policies.
  • Coordinate and compile reports for submission to oversight bodies such as the Director-General and Ministry.
