We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tier 2 IT Engineer to join our dynamic team.Position Overview As a Tier 2 IT Engineer with our client, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting end-users, and collaborating with fellow IT professionals to ensure seamless operations. Eligibility CriteriaProvide advanced technical support to address escalated IT issues from Tier 1 support.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.Manage and upkeep IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.Assist in implementing and deploying new technologies and solutions.Monitor system performance and security, taking proactive measures for stability and safety.Document and update IT procedures and knowledge base articles.Collaborate with IT team members and departments to deliver unified support and service.Train and mentor Tier 1 support staff.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.Familiarity with cloud services.Experience with network protocols, hardware, and configurations.Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Relevant certifications such as A+, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator.
