Responsibilities

Lead the Mineralogy Division and execute long- and short-term plans in support of Mintek strategy.
Align divisional strategy with Mintek mandate and external stakeholders.
Ensure adequate funding and staffing for divisional objectives.
Develop and implement divisional strategy; pursue revenue opportunities.
Plan and allocate resources; plan for future skills and staff retention.
Drive divisional financial sustainability and manage expenditure.
Foster national and international collaboration and commercialization of research outcomes.
Ensure governance with SHEQ, PFMA compliance and clean audits.
