Job description

This high volume, full service hotel is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER to lead the housekeeping team and area of responsibility with professionalism, efficiency, and a meticulous eye for detail. The successful incumbent will be responsible to oversee the overall management of the housekeeping department, inclusive of the daily operations, manage the team, maintaining inventory, partner and collaborate with other departments, ensure guest satisfaction through impeccable service and attention to detail by ensuring high standards are met and adhered to. You will be working in a fast paced, high-energy environment where exceptional service delivery and diligence are highly valued.

Key Requirements :

  • Recognized Qualification in Hospitality Management preferred or related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a 4 / 5-star hotel environment with a minimum of a 300-bedroom accommodation segment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures and health & safety standards.
  • Proficient in housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and health & safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as and when required
  • Well-groomed and professional disposition
  • Confident and calm demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and efficiency pertaining to area of responsibility
  • Ability to manage conflict and challenging situations with respect and confidence
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and work within a fast paced pressurized and team orientated environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts inclusive of weekends, public holidays, evenings and as per operational requirements as and when required
