Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead a nonprofit focused on access to justice and survivors of gender-based violence. You will drive strategy, fundraising, governance and financial stewardship, while guiding people development and trauma-informed programme delivery.

The role is based at the Diepsloot centre with occasional visits to satellite offices, demanding senior nonprofit leadership and a deep commitment to social justice in a resource‑constrained

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate degree in law or social sciences or a related field.
• At least five years in senior nonprofit management.
• Proven fundraising, donor engagement and governance experience.
• Experience with trauma-informed service delivery and survivors of gender-based violence.

• Develop and implement the organisation's strategic plan, vision and theory of change.
• Lead fundraising, donor engagement and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting and audit preparation.
• Strengthen governance and board effectiveness with policy compliance.
• Lead organisational planning, people management and staff wellbeing.
• Oversee programme quality and impact, aligned with best practices.
• Support programme delivery, evaluate outcomes and growth opportunities.
• Drive marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Represent the organisation with donors, government agencies and partners.
• Ensure compliance with legal, employment and nonprofit reporting obligations.
• Oversee operational infrastructure, cybersecurity and data protection.
