Description:


The Executive Chef is responsible for all food production in the restaurant, conferences and banqueting, room service, and other food outlets. This includes developing and costing menus, recipe development, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation. The role involves supervision, food production, and administration, managing a team beneath them.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric
  • Professional Qualification in Culinary Arts
  • 3 - 5 Years of previous Executive Chef experience in a 4/5-star environment
  • Ability to create and cost menus and recipes
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Customer service orientation with excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication with staff and hotel guests
  • Honest and trustworthy
