Job description

Executive Assistant to CEO - Krugersdorp, Gauteng

Our Client in Chamdor, Krugersdorp / Roodepoort, Gauteng is looking for an Assistant to the CEO with 3-5 years solid experience to assist with office management, tenders, reports, procurement/buying, logistics, and documentation. You must have 3 years plus tender documentation and coordinating experience.

Salary: Very negotiable depending on experience

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Matric and relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  2. Excellent skills in Excel, MS Office, and PowerPoint
  3. Min 3-5 years Assistant experience to CEO/MD/COO or FD from Engineering, Production, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, or Technical working environments
  4. 3 years Procurement/pricing/buying experience (Administration & Coordinating)
  5. Technically minded with experience to administer
  6. Experience to administer/compile tenders is essential
  7. Experience logging into tender portals is needed
  8. Attention to detail is a must

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide executive, assisting, and administrative support to the CEO
  2. Procurement, pricing, and buying duties
  3. Tender Administration, submission, and Coordination
  4. Filtering tender information into summarized Excel documents for Directors to review and price
  5. Assist with compiling and submitting tender documents
  6. Logging onto tender portals and reliably downloading documents
  7. Corresponding with all outsourced suppliers regarding quotes and queries
  8. Executive PA duties like diary management, coordinating of meetings, conferences, and functions
  9. Arranging and booking of all travel, meetings, and events (local and international)
  10. Executive typing skills of correspondence, documents, quotes, and minutes of meetings
  11. Deal with customer queries and complaints by recording and responding
  12. Responsible for organizing internal and external meetings on behalf of the Directors ensuring all necessary requirements are made (e.g., meeting venue, equipment, presentations, prepare agendas)
