The role

The Executive Assistant provides a range of executive secretarial and administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the Executive Director Aboriginal Outcomes to contribute to the efficient and effective running and operations of the Directorate and the optimal utilisation of the Executive Directors time and resources. The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders by providing positive and efficient client service.

What you will bring to the role

  • Significant experience providing executive support services to senior executive within government.
  • Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive issues at the senior executive levels.
  • Computer literacy and extensive experience in the use of a range of computer applications such as; Microsoft Office SAP and CM10 records management program
  • Capacity to navigate culturally sensitive issues with respect and understanding
  • Highlevel written interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to work with diverse professionals in a collaborative environment.
  • High level administrative skills to providing confidential executive support to the Executive Director including preparation of correspondence minutes agendas reports presentations and other essential documentation
  • Enjoys autonomy and demonstrates proficiency in working independently taking initiative and making decisions.
  • Team player with the ability to thrive in a multiskilled team environment.
