Job summary

Anonymous in Midrand, South Africa is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team, drive equipment reliability, and keep production flowing. You’ll supervise technicians, plan maintenance using CMMS/Excel, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Quality, HSE, and Food Safety teams to meet high standards, controls spares and LOTOTO, and drive continuous improvement for cost and reliability. This role offers growth within a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team, assign daily tasks, and ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance quality.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules using CMMS/Excel; create job cards and track asset history.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot safely, restore production quickly.
• Coordinate with QA/HSE to meet GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and hygiene standards.
• Control spares, tools, and suppliers; enforce LOTOTO and permit-to-work per LSR.
• Conduct root cause analyses; track KPIs and drive reliability improvements.

• Drive Improvement: Conduct root cause analyses, track KPIs (PM completion, MTTR, MTBF), and champion continuous improvement initiatives that boost reliability.
