ABOUT THE ROLE

My client is seeking a sharp, organized, and reliable Executive Assistant to support the executive of several fast-paced businesses. The role involves coordinating meetings, managing communication, handling administrative tasks, banking, errands, and occasional personal assistance.

This is an in-office, hands-on role requiring a practical, proactive individual comfortable managing both business and personal responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Communication & Coordination: Draft and send professional emails, follow up with clients and contacts, and manage communication across multiple projects.
  2. Scheduling & Diary Management: Arrange meetings (including outreach), manage calendars, and ensure the founder is prepared and punctual.
  3. Admin & Organisation: Maintain files and tasks, track outstanding items, and assist with light reporting and documentation.
  4. Banking & Payments: Assist with payments, document submissions, banking queries, and financial admin.
  5. Personal Support: Run errands, assist with travel plans, and help manage personal logistics alongside work-related needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and independently manage tasks
  • Proactive in identifying gaps and solving problems
  • Professional engagement with investors, advisors, and stakeholders
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy: proficient with Gmail, Google Drive, Excel, Zoom, WhatsApp
  • Bonus: familiarity with task tracking or workflow tools
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to assist with professional and personal tasks
  • Based in Johannesburg and willing to work in-office daily
