Job description

Executive Assistant to the Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • A National Diploma or post qualification in Office Management & Technology or Office Administration
  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years or equivalent work-related experience of which at least 2 years of experience should be in support of executive management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to travel locally, as and when required
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours

Key Competencies:

  • Must be computer literate with an advanced level of skills in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent report writing, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • High level of professional work ethic and integrity
  • Up to date with the latest office equipment and applications
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring easy access to important documents
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as expense reporting, salary inputs, and data entry
  • Plan and arrange travel, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
  • Prepare travel itineraries and ensure executives' travel needs are met
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
