Job Description

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Executive Assistant. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Group Executive: HR and will be responsible for the functioning of the Group Executive – HR’s office and for providing effective and efficient administrative and support services to the Division. The job holder must be in possession of a tertiary qualification in HR and a minimum of 3 years’ Executive Assistant experience is required. This position carries the Task Grade of T09.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the optimal functioning of the Group Executive – HR’s office and diary.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage the company’s CSI activities.
  • Review and edit correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Capture and manage HR information.
  • Prepare packs for meetings (Board & EXCO meetings).
  • Track ongoing HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate information, compile and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to the HR Team.
  • Maintain an effective filling system.
  • Assist with expense reporting.
