Job Description

Technology Leadership

  • Provide Technology leadership, direction, and innovation to the product unit aligned to the business’s strategy.
  • Provide product unit’s executive team with the appropriate leadership on trade-offs required to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Define world-class strategic architecture and roadmaps.
  • Fully integrate into the Product unit’s executive team and commit to agreed business outcomes.
  • Provide clear strategic direction to the technology teams you are leading.
  • Align and contribute to Technology leadership for the broader firm.

Accountability: Technology People Management

  • Manage internal and external resources to achieve outcomes.
  • Build diverse, high-performing teams supporting delivery of business outcomes.
  • Embed talent management practices and build career paths for team members.
  • Ensure teams stay technically current with future skill requirements.
  • Maintain overall team health.

Accountability: Stability of systems/applications

  • End-to-end accountability for system/application reliability.
  • Eliminate single points of failure, optimize processes, monitor services, ensure resilience, and keep applications up to date.

Accountability: Data

  • Be the single point of contact on technology-enabled data activities for Product Unit’s Exco.
  • Ensure data availability and tools support data-driven insights and value creation.

Accountability: Security/Cyber

  • Be the single point of contact for security and cyber activities.
  • Ensure secure build of technology and ongoing protection against cyber threats.

Accountability: Technology Cost and Business Management

  • Participate in BU Exco for technology spend prioritization.
  • Provide affordable, scalable technologies aligned with business goals.
  • Innovate and optimize technology costs, manage assets, and vendor relationships.

Accountability: Delivery of new technology Solutions (Changes)

  • Enable business transformation through technology delivery.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of changes.
  • Promote digitization and new work methodologies like Agile and DevOps.

Accountability: Risk Management and Compliance

  • Foster a culture of risk management and compliance.
  • Adhere to policies, proactively manage risks, and resolve audit issues timely.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
