Job description

PURPOSE

Perform the task of excavating and loading materials as per company SOP/STP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excavating and loading materials.
• Connecting and disconnecting pipes.
• Constructing spigot pipe stands.
• Constructing tailings walls.
• Leveling using the bucket.
• Cleaning using the bucket.
• Performing ad hoc work as required.
• Following safety rules, regulations, and job site conditions.
• Conducting walk-around inspections.
• Reporting defects.
• Completing pre-start checklists.
• Maintaining general housekeeping of the excavator machine.
