Overview

Function Head Office Facility Position EWP Clinical Case Manager Introduction

A vacancy exists for an EWP Clinical Case Manager within Life Health Solutions, based at the Head Office in Rosebank. The EWP Clinical Case Manager will be reporting to the EWP Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality emotional consultation and counselling with Employees telephonically, as well as attending to and receiving overflow calls within the team. The role will require the referral, management and follow-up on referrals to the EWP Practitioners network and ensure services are in line with the clients’ service level benchmarks. The compiling of reports and risk management are also important aspects in this position.

Critical Outputs
  • Provide quality emotional telephone counseling and consultation services to relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrate appropriate consultation methodologies that are efficient, customer focused and professional, as well as aligned to clinical protocols provided by Life Health Solutions
  • Link, and follow-up on face to face referrals to the EWP Practitioners network and ensure resolution within the service level benchmarks
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of client companies’ Service Level Agreements as well as internal systems, policies and procedures
  • Consider appropriate care methodology when providing solution plans (Channel of Care)
  • Ensure that information is shared with respect to best practice standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality
  • Managing any risks, contain employees, and ensure appropriate care resolution
  • Demonstrate consistent and accurate recording of case data
  • Activate support for stakeholders requesting legal and / or financial wellness interventions
  • Activate support for stakeholders requesting health or medical advice related interventions
  • Compile proof of counselling attendance for clients who attended face to face or virtually therapy, upon requests and in line with the Life Health Solutions protocols
  • Undertake Manager / HR / Occupational Health consultations
  • Arrange and refer group interventions post trauma
Requirements
  • Clinical or counseling related qualification (Master’s degree in Psychology / Social Work / Registered Counselor)
  • 2 years of experience in relevant Human Sciences field or within Employee Wellness
  • Annual professional registration with the relevant statutory body (HPCSA; SACSSP)

  • Good knowledge and understanding of ethics and codes of conduct within the field of psychology, social work; counseling and employee wellness services
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to enable clearly consolidated reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders
