Are you passionate about keeping events safe, compliant, and running seamlessly? Do you thrive in high-energy environments where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Events and Venue Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team and support the safe delivery of events across our portfolio of venues.

Type: Permanent

Area: Remote in SA

Key Responsibilities

Event & Venue Operations

·Coordinate event execution to meet client needs and legal standards.

·Work alongside senior duty managers to ensure safe, smooth operations.

·Communicate effectively with licensing officers, emergency services, and stakeholders.

·Maintain up-to-date safety documentation for venues and events.

Licensing & Legal Compliance

·Ensure all venues operate within UK Licensing Act 2003 regulations.

·Maintain up-to-date incident logs, training records, and compliance registers.

·Submit and track Temporary Event Notices (TENs) and required permissions.

Health & Safety / Risk Management

·Conduct venue inspections and risk assessments under H&S legislation.

·Implement procedures for fire safety, crowd control, and emergency evacuation.

·Oversee documentation for health & safety audits and equipment checks.

Team Management & Training

·Develop and coordinate training programmes (alcohol laws, first aid, fire safety, etc.).

·Monitor staff certifications (SIA, First Aid, etc.) and manage renewals.

Security & Incident Reporting

·Ensure timely reporting and secure logging of serious incidents across events.

What We’re Looking For

·Proven experience in compliance or operational roles within licensed venues, nightlife, or event spaces.

·Solid understanding of UK licensing laws and health & safety regulations.

·Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and decision-making skills.

·Previous experience liaising with local councils and regulatory bodies.

·Relevant qualifications in licensing, safety, or compliance.

·Detail-oriented and compliance-focused

·Calm under pressure with strong leadership instincts

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Client- and customer-service mindset
