As the Events Coordinator, you'll be the heart and soul behind bringing unforgettable experiences to life at our luxury hotel. Your role is all about working hand-in-hand with clients to turn their visions into reality, whether it's a dreamy wedding, a lively corporate function, or an intimate gathering. You'll be there every step of the way, ensuring each detail is thoughtfully planned, organised, and executed with care.

Your mission? To create moments that not only meet but exceed expectations, leaving our guests with memories they'll cherish long after the event is over. You'll be the friendly face clients turn to, guiding them through the process and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

What Is Required:

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Manager in driving sales and the planning, coordination and supervision of events, to aid the food & beverage team in delivering their operational objectives. The successful applicant will be required to assist clients and groups with all the relevant event protocols, this will include but is not limited to, guest accommodation, event activity and any tailored requirements. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that each event is seamlessly managed, meets the high standards of the hotel, and delivers an exceptional experience for guests. The Events Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, while overseeing, with the managers support, all aspects of the event to ensure successful execution.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Grade 12 or Equivalent
  2. Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level
  3. Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular)
  4. Diploma/Degree in hospitality management or event management (advantageous)
  5. 2 to 5 years in hospitality industry experience
