Placements24 is seeking reliable Catering Assistants to provide event support in Soweto. You will help with setup, guest service, and post-event cleanup, ensuring smooth execution across a range of catering functions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or food handling is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and catering equipment.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events.
• Replenish food and beverage stations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of serving areas, guest spaces, and kitchen facilities.
• Assist with breakdown of events, including clearing tables and packing equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
