Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Monitor the security (Fidelity Security Services) and golf course (Matkovich) service delivery and enforce performance by agreed standards.
  2. Maintenance and repairs of the Estate infrastructure.
  3. Set and monitor tasks of the Estate maintenance team.
  4. Monitor and oversee all administrative functions of the Estate.
  5. Manage and monitor the EMP-controlled burns, soil erosion and alien vegetation.
  6. Monitor the Kopanong Dam in terms of the Nondela WULA.
  7. Stock control i.e. Diesel and petrol consumption, vehicles and tools.
  8. Obtaining quotations for specific Estate-related repairs and maintenance.
  9. Assist in the preparations of annual budgets.
  10. Ensure that budgets are adhered to.
  11. Monitor the land use and liaison with the community.
  12. Assist in the functionality of the Mpandweni Primary School and the social and welfare programme.
  13. Ensure compliance with all HR-related legislative and regulatory requirements.
  14. Ensure that any disciplinary and poor performance issues are dealt with by labour legislation.
  15. Compile monthly management reports.
  16. Conduct a regular risk analysis and institute appropriate action to prevent risk factors.
  17. Ensure that all safety measures and equipment are in good functioning order.
  18. Liaison with the neighbours, Central and Northern Berg Farm Safety cluster, regarding safety and security on a 24-hour basis.
  19. Monitor the portable water supply daily.
  20. General day-to-day management of the Estate and staff.
  21. Procurement.
  22. Managing household / estate bills and administrative duties.
  23. Running errands and performing necessary tasks.
  24. Responsibilities of planning, organizing and coordinating events / visits.
  25. Hosts guests in line with the standards of excellence.
  26. Understanding of food and beverages and serving of guests.
  27. Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
  28. Demonstrate ability to communicate well with high-profile clients and guests.
