Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the security (Fidelity Security Services) and golf course (Matkovich) service delivery and enforce performance by agreed standards.
- Maintenance and repairs of the Estate infrastructure.
- Set and monitor tasks of the Estate maintenance team.
- Monitor and oversee all administrative functions of the Estate.
- Manage and monitor the EMP-controlled burns, soil erosion and alien vegetation.
- Monitor the Kopanong Dam in terms of the Nondela WULA.
- Stock control i.e. Diesel and petrol consumption, vehicles and tools.
- Obtaining quotations for specific Estate-related repairs and maintenance.
- Assist in the preparations of annual budgets.
- Ensure that budgets are adhered to.
- Monitor the land use and liaison with the community.
- Assist in the functionality of the Mpandweni Primary School and the social and welfare programme.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that any disciplinary and poor performance issues are dealt with by labour legislation.
- Compile monthly management reports.
- Conduct a regular risk analysis and institute appropriate action to prevent risk factors.
- Ensure that all safety measures and equipment are in good functioning order.
- Liaison with the neighbours, Central and Northern Berg Farm Safety cluster, regarding safety and security on a 24-hour basis.
- Monitor the portable water supply daily.
- General day-to-day management of the Estate and staff.
- Procurement.
- Managing household / estate bills and administrative duties.
- Running errands and performing necessary tasks.
- Responsibilities of planning, organizing and coordinating events / visits.
- Hosts guests in line with the standards of excellence.
- Understanding of food and beverages and serving of guests.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate well with high-profile clients and guests.
