ESL Teacher : Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled contact hours as assigned by the academic office
- Provide engaging, high-quality lessons using EF’s blended learning approach
- Prepare relevant class materials, including syllabi for special interest classes, handouts, quizzes, and assignments
- Complete all required admin tasks accurately and on time
- Support students by answering questions and coordinating with other departments as needed
- Attend and participate in teacher meetings, training sessions, and development activities
- Take part in classroom observations and feedback sessions
- Develop and use supplementary materials in line with EF guidelines to meet learner needs
- Collaborate with academic and support staff to monitor and enhance student progress

Requirements
- Matric certificate (high school completion)
- Bachelor’s Degree (any field)
- A minimum 160-hour TEFL (including 6 hours observed teaching) certificate with 1–3 years of teaching experience
- CELTA or CertTESOL qualifications are advantageous but not required. We welcome applications from all qualified TEFL holders.
