About the Eskom YES Programme

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a collaborative public-private initiative led by the Presidency, designed to provide South Africa’s unemployed youth with quality work experience. Eskom is contributing to this vision by offering 30 YES positions at its Duvha Power Station.

Successful applicants will receive workplace exposure in various Eskom departments, contributing to their professional growth and employability.

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Aged between 18 to 34 years
  • A post-matric certificate or programme will be an added advantage
Additional Criteria
  • Must not have worked permanently for any employer for more than 1 year
  • Must not be studying full-time in 2025
  • Must not have participated in the YES programme previously
