Job summary

Alexforbes is seeking an Impact Analyst to deliver ESG, sustainability and impact analysis for clients, applying established frameworks and contributing to assessments and reporting. The role supports integration with Paragon methodologies and requires collaboration across investment, advisory, sustainability and technology teams.

The role is designed to grow from Analyst to Senior/Lead level with increasing independence, client exposure, and ownership of workstreams within a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 plus further degrees in environmental sciences or investments related fields.
• 6 months to 1 year with sustainability-specific training.
• 2-3 years with investment experience and sustainability exposure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality ESG, sustainability and impact analysis for clients.
• Apply relevant sustainability frameworks and strengthen analysis quality.
• Contribute to Paragon assessments, materiality analysis, portfolio assessments and reporting.
• Translate sustainability insights into investment-focused language.
• Support client proposals and engagements.
• Identify opportunities where Paragon capabilities add value and generate advisory leads.
