Job description

ERP Systems Analyst Description ERP Systems Analyst’s role is to ensure that the ERP application is maintained according to the business requirements. They are responsible for determining the ERP needs of a client and translating them into ERP system specifications. They will also assist in troubleshooting issues and writing knowledge base articles / work instructions, testing the system and training the end users on the ERP program. Brainstorming new ways to add more functionality to systems and review ERP process for non-value added activities. He or she will continuously action new business requirements using technologies available to implement the desired functionality. Responsibilities

  • Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of QAD software at the server and client level in production and non-production environments.
  • Responsible for managing QAD work requests.
  • Manage QAD Help Desk issues by utilizing existing support resources.
  • Lead the consulting group who supports QAD Tire 1 issues
  • Lead ERP system upgrades and new module implementations.
  • Design / Develop / maintain customized modules based on user requirements.
  • Create and maintain interfaces to other systems around ERP
  • Writing instruction manuals for systems
  • Training end users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system analysis in QAD
  • In-depth working knowledge in QAD application
  • Experience in integrating QAD with other applications
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leading a team with strong attention to detail and providing guidance to the team of system analysts and developers
