A leading company in the Meat / Butchery industry based in Cullinan is looking for an experienced ERP & Process Analyst with excellent T-SQL Programming skills and 2–3 years DBA experience to join their team as soon as possible.

- Meat Matrix update testing model
- Meat Matrix testing automation
- Monthly plant walkthroughs
- Successful implementations
- At least 3 software suggestions per year
- Updated Meat Matrix issue list with regular follow-ups
- Implement new features with minimal issues
- No downtime due to update issues or flaws
- Well-maintained testing model with version control
- Automate some models for testing
- Monthly feedback on process issues in the plant
- Database optimization
- Database incident investigation and reporting
- Database administration
- Database job scheduling
- Ensure database is optimized with low waiting times
- Investigate and report on database head blocks and irregular waiting times
- Create and maintain database users and access
- Maintain and create scheduled jobs
Processes
- Analyze, create, and document processes
- Revision control
- Handover procedures
- Policies and procedures updates
- Logical, business, and operational processes
- Successful revision control of documentation
- Signed-off processes
Security
- Adhere to best security practices
- Assist IT manager in identifying security risks
- Zero security incidents
- Alert manager to security issues on local computers
Support
- Assist IT manager with general IT tasks
- After-hours support
- Willingness to support other IT functions
- Reasonable availability after hours
Reporting
- Ensure data accuracy
- Timely report delivery
- Define report requirements
- Present reports effectively
- Version control
- Comment on stored procedures/views
- Maintain valid and accurate data
- Upload all SSRS reports and scripts to Github
- Comment all views and procedures
Management
- Manage junior ERP support analysts
- Report on ERP team performance
- Manage workload and efficiency
- Provide departmental updates to IT manager
Ensure all ERP tickets are assigned, feedback provided, and closed per IT SLA.
Teamwork / Staff Engagement
- Promote company values and foster a cohesive work environment
- Participate in HR initiatives such as performance management, talent development, and engagement
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Provide technical support to peers and colleagues
- Follow occupational health and safety guidelines

Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Excellent T-SQL programming skills
- 2–3 years DBA experience
- Understanding of ERP systems with 3+ years experience
- Own transport and valid driver’s license
- Reliable home internet access
- Ability to prioritize and remain calm under stress
- Self-motivated and organized
- Availability to start around 1 March 2022
Package & Remuneration
- Standby two weekends per month (R1500 per weekend)
- CTC R420,000 (negotiable)
- No leave from 15 Nov – 15 Jan
- 18 days leave per year
- Work from home one day per week
