Provide job specific SYSPRO training to end users.
Assess the use of SYSPRO and implement changes where processes are not in line with expected business processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues.
Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
Maintain daily tape backups and offsite backups storage.
Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Monitor and perform routine server maintenance.
Manage user accounts, credentials, permission, access rights and active directory administration.
Monitor the performance of existing computer systems and IT infrastructure.
Document processes and operating procedures.
Support LANs, WANs, internet and intranet systems.
Administer servers, desktop computers, laptops, printers, routers, switches, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Assist with month end processing and be able to work after hours in case of system upgrades and maintenance.
Maintain software and hardware registers and ensure full compliance as per company policies with regular audits on all PCs and laptops as well as monitoring internet and email usage.
Strong procurement knowledge with regards to purchasing IT equipment (hardware and software).
Execute backup and recovery plan (Disaster recovery).
Respond to after-hours system problems and travel to branch locations as needed.
Maintain all IT infrastructure and equipment and ensure regular service and maintenance.
In critical areas such as server rooms, consider service level agreement hardware and software subscriptions where needed.
Translation installation and support (Bar coding systems).
