Job summary

HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking an Industrialisation Technologist to establish and maintain production-ready product structures within the ERP system. You will translate approved engineering data into controlled baselines to support compliant, cost-effective production.

The role requires an Advanced Diploma/BTech in Electronic Engineering and at least 7 years in a military electronics environment, with hands-on experience in product structures, ERP systems, and manufacturing data management.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced diploma or BTech in electronic engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in a military electronics environment, preferably in industrialisation or production engineering.
• Practical experience with electronic product structures and manufacturing data in production.

Responsibilities

• Establish product master data, BOMs, product structures, part numbers, routings and assembly standard times in the ERP system.
• Verify and maintain product structures, Master records and supplier information throughout product lifecycle.
• Evaluate component and PCB information against obsolescence, RoHS and REACH requirements.
• Coordinate industrialisation readiness reviews with CAD, Engineering and stakeholders.
• Analyse and maintain manufacturing operations, routings and standard times against production performance.
