Job summary

FirstRand Group (FNB) in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Wealth and Investments trader to execute client trades on JSE and global platforms, compile daily reports, and ensure accuracy of client instructions. You will manage account data, maintain client books, and assess risks to guide trading decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years trading or portfolio experience, a BCom in Finance, and relevant FAIS/RE5/JSE exams. Join a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Execute trades on JSE and global trading platforms per instructions.
• Compile daily trade activity reports and client insights for Manco.
• Ensure accuracy of client instructions and trading records.
• Manage data for new accounts and deactivations.
• Maintain client books in administrative trading and service capacity.
• Assess financial risks andidentify trading strategies from data.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades on the JSE and other platforms through the trading systems.
• Compile daily trade activity reports and customer insights for submission to Manco.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to client instructions.
• Manage statistical data for new account openings and deactivations.
• Maintain client books in admin, trading and client service roles.
• Evaluate risks and decide on trades based on data and research.
• Ensure all trading transactions comply with laws and policies to avoid penalties.

• Execute the trades o n the JSE and gl o bal trading platforms through the relevant trading s y stems
