Are you a master of construction execution with the drive to lead multiple high-impact projects across the country?

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a dynamic Equity Build Lead to join a fast-paced, high-performance team. Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to take full ownership of new builds and remodels across their equity portfolio, ensuring delivery that's not only on time and within budget but also meets the highest standards in quality and compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, thrives under pressure, and knows how to bring a project from vision to handover while navigating complex stakeholder relationships and tight timelines.

Responsibilities :

  1. Leading the full project lifecycle for 12 new builds and 10 remodels annually
  2. Overseeing all elements of cost management including tenders, variation orders, and final accounts
  3. Securing new restaurant sites and negotiating commercially strong lease agreements
  4. Driving projects through municipal approval processes ensuring full compliance
  5. Identifying and implementing innovative, cost-effective build strategies without compromising quality

Requirements :

  1. 5-10 years experience in construction project management within a fast-paced, multisite environment
  2. Deep knowledge of contractor / supplier management, tender processes, and cost optimisation
  3. Expertise in construction contract law, health and safety legislation, and quality control
  4. Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  5. A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (postgrad qualifications a bonus)
  6. Experience in the retail or restaurant sector will be highly advantageous
