You will research and analyze shares listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), identifying investment opportunities that Portfolio Managers can use to add value to clients portfolios.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct full research responsibilities, including detailed company and sector analysis of JSE-listed companies.
• Assimilate and share broker information, annual reports, and insights from company visits.
• Actively participate in investment team discussions and debates.
• Present well-founded investment recommendations to the team.
• Track the performance of companies held within the firms portfolios.

Ideal Experience :

• Up to 5 years experience as an equity analyst in asset management or stockbroking is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Experience building financial models to support and test investment decisions.

Qualifications :

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Business Science degree, preferably with a finance focus
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
