An innovative foundation is calling for groundbreaking solutions in women's health through its global grants program. This initiative aims to support pioneering researchers tackling female-specific health challenges by providing substantial funding and access to a global network of industry partners. The program prioritizes advanced diagnostics, non-hormonal therapeutics, and maternal health solutions, ensuring that critical healthcare innovations reach those in need. If you're a scientist from an accredited institution with a transformative idea, this is your chance to make a significant impact in women's healthcare.
EQT Foundation has opened applications for its Breakthrough Science grants program, offering funding between €25,000 and €100,000 to support deeptech innovations addressing female-specific health challenges.
This global call targets pioneering researchers focused on developing groundbreaking diagnostics, therapeutics, and technologies to close long-standing gaps in women's healthcare. Despite women comprising over half the world's population, only a fraction of healthcare innovation funding targets female-specific conditions.
Many diseases—including cardiovascular, autoimmune, and gynecological disorders—are under-researched, often leading to misdiagnoses, limited treatment options, and poor health outcomes. These disparities are particularly acute in low-resource settings.
The Breakthrough Science program is open to scientists from accredited institutions worldwide and prioritizes projects in the following areas:
In addition to financial support, EQT Foundation offers awardees access to EQT's global network of industry partners, commercialization pathways, and expert mentorship to help transition innovations from lab to market.
Application Deadline: April 27, 23:59 CET
