Job Title: EPWP Receptionist/Admin Assistant, Head Office

Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Provide efficient and friendly customer service.
  • Welcome on-site guests, determine the nature of their visit, and notify the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist walk-in clients.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.
  • Provide accurate information in person, via phone, or email.
Admin and Clerical Support
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and managing access at the reception (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Manage Head Office boardrooms and scheduling.
  • Update calendars and organize meetings.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation as needed.
  • Assist with records, registry, infrastructure, assets, and inventory administration.
  • Support procurement administration and handle enquiries.
Switchboard / Telephone Duties
  • Manage the main switchboard, answer and transfer calls.
  • Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when necessary.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • No criminal record.
  • Ability to communicate in at least two of the Western Cape's official languages.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in reception, front office, or customer service roles.
  • Experience in administrative or management positions is a plus.
