The Limpopo Department of Health has announced one of the province’s largest Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) recruitment drives by advertising 1,985 General Worker positions across hospitals, community health centres and clinics.

Successful applicants will work in health institutions throughout Capricorn, Mopani, Sekhukhune, Vhembe and Waterberg districts, as well as selected Head Office facilities in Polokwane. The programme will run until 31 March 2027.

About the EPWP General Worker Programme

The Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) continues to create temporary employment opportunities while supporting essential public services. Under this programme, General Workers will assist healthcare facilities by maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments that support quality patient care.

Successful candidates will be placed at hospitals, clinics and community health centres throughout Limpopo Province. The initiative forms part of government’s ongoing commitment to job creation, service delivery improvement and community development.
