The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, driving the proposal process, and concluding EPC agreements with developers, public entities, and employers.

What You’ll Do
  • Proactively identify and assess new EPC opportunities in the infrastructure, power, and renewable energy sectors.
  • Lead the full proposal lifecycle, including technical inputs, pricing strategy, partner engagement, and document submission.
  • Negotiate and conclude EPC contracts aligned with both client expectations and internal commercial requirements.
  • Work closely with developers, IPPs, municipalities, SOEs, and key project stakeholders throughout the bid and contracting process.
  • Coordinate internal engineering, legal, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely, competitive, and compliant proposals.
  • Monitor relevant tender pipelines, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks influencing infrastructure and energy development.
  • Support broader business development objectives by positioning the company in target sectors and cultivating new partnerships.
  • Report to senior management on pipeline activity, commercial risks, bid performance, and market intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in EPC project development or proposals within infrastructure, energy, or industrial construction.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing and winning complex EPC bids, particularly in power generation, water infrastructure, or large public-sector projects.
  • Strong contractual knowledge, with hands-on experience negotiating FIDIC or equivalent EPC contracts.
  • Relevant degree in engineering, commercial, or project disciplines; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of the South African infrastructure and energy procurement landscape.
  • Confident communicator capable of interfacing with C-suite stakeholders, developers, and government entities.
  • Based in or able to relocate to Midrand, Gauteng, with flexibility to travel nationally as required.
What We Offer
