This role is essential for maintaining a safe, clean, and infection-free environment within hospitals and clinics, directly contributing to patient care and well-being. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and sanitation duties, following strict protocols for infection control, waste management, and sterilization in patient areas, operating theatres, laboratories, and public spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare hygiene standards and a commitment to upholding the highest levels of cleanliness in a demanding medical setting. This is a crucial position within the healthcare infrastructure of Pretoria .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, common areas, and high-risk zones according to established protocols.
• Implement and adhere to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and waste segregation.
• Manage the collection, transportation, and disposal of regulated medical waste in compliance with safety regulations.
