Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of cleaning and sanitation staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement daily work schedules and cleaning routines for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of all facilities to ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating cleaning equipment.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints related to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new cleaning technologies or methods.
• Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations relevant to the Rustenburg area.

The supervisor will lead a team of environmental services staff, ensuring efficient deployment, quality control, and adherence to strict health and safety protocols. This hybrid position requires a blend of on‑site supervision and off‑site strategic planning. You will be responsible for staff training, inventory management, and continuous improvement of sanitation practices to meet and exceed industry standards.
