Job summary

NOA in Cape Town is seeking an organized EHS Administrator to provide operational and administrative support to the Senior EHS Manager and Environmental Supervisor. You will help keep daily safety activities running smoothly on site.

You will champion a proactive safety culture, promote health and safety awareness, and ensure documentation, audits, and licenses are managed effectively with contractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining EHS Documentation and Record Keeping
• Data Entry and Monitoring of Trackers, Action Lists; update of Contractor- EHS Action Tracker and ensuring NOA actions are followed up with Senior EHS Manager, Environmental Supervisor and Contractor for effective close out
• Assist with ensuring service providers are fulfilling their Service Level Agreements timeously
• Assist with tracking of budget, supporting on VO’s, Out of budget process and receipt and processing of invoices
• Communication & Co-ordination (Information flow, Meeting Support, Liaison)
• Ensuring SHE Audits, monthly, bi-annually are scheduled, prepared for and attended
• Support in ensuring licenses, permits and authorisations, NCRs are dealt with effectively
• Support the implementation of the approved ESMS
• Construction Support to Construction Manager
• Support HSE meetings with Contractors on site and ensure MoM is accurately recorded
• Document management
• Effectively communicate company values and objectives on site
• Act as a key resource for health and safety matters, providing guidance

Role Purpose

This role provides operational and administrative support to both the Senior EHS Manager and the Environmental Supervisor, helping ensure the EHS team runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Beyond this support function, the successful candidate will champion a proactive safety culture across the organization, promoting safety awareness, encouraging employee participation, and fostering commitment to health and safety at every level.
