General Summary

The Cultivation Technician supports the production, maintenance, and health of all crops by performing tasks assigned by the Cultivation Manager in a large-scale facility.

This role is responsible for plant quality, trimming, and the overall efficiency of cultivation operations, including tasks needed throughout the grow cycle to ensure the development of quality products.

Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to all SOPs regarding Cultivation, Cloning, and Pruning.
• Follow performance metrics and guidelines from managers and supervisors.
• Adhere to Metrc protocols for accurate plant tagging.
• Maintain cleanliness through proper cleaning, sanitation, and binning protocols.
• Monitor plants for signs of issues or problems; treat for disease or infestation.
• Ensure systematic cleaning and sanitizing of the grow facility and machinery; dispose of waste according to compliance guidelines.
• Accurately track and record data during each phase of cultivation, ensuring compliance with CA state regulations and SOPs.

Employee Conduct

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

• Able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products.
• Extensive walking in an expansive environment.
• Standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Use hands for handling, typing, grasping, and perceiving attributes by touch.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Weekend and holidays are expected to be worked. Typical work hours are from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Sunday, with schedules subject to change.
