Placements24 is seeking reliable General Construction Labourers to support building projects in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. Entry-level role ideal for individuals eager to learn, physically fit, and able to work with skilled trades on-site.

You will assist with site setup, material handling, and basic tool operation, while adhering to health and safety guidelines to contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

• Basic understanding of construction site operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, etc.) with their tasks.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning, grading, and excavating.
• Operate basic hand and power tools as directed.
• Perform general site cleanup and maintenance duties.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
