Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking an experienced Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) Senior Manager to lead strategic transformation across industries and regions, focusing on economic transformation and the growth of black-owned SMMEs.

You will design and oversee ESD programmes aligned with B-BBEE, recruit and develop beneficiaries, build corporate partnerships, monitor performance, and advise clients on scorecard requirements; travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Development Studies, or related field.
• 5–8 years' experience in an ESD, B-BBEE, or supplier development role
• Proven track record managing ESD programmes across industries
• Strong knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and SMME development

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee ESD programmes compliant with B-BBEE codes.
• Identify, recruit, and develop qualifying SMME beneficiaries across sectors.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporates, partners, and SMME stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on ESD performance, impact, and compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance on ESD and scorecard requirements.
• Manage budgets, funding mechanisms, and supplier development pipelines.
• Drive enterprise development initiatives including mentorship and incubation.

A dynamic and results-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) Senior Manager to lead and drive impactful transformation initiatives across multiple industries and regions. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned ESD professional who is passionate about economic transformation and the sustainable growth of black-owned SMMEs.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Development Studies, or related field (postgraduate advantageous)
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in an ESD, B-BBEE, or supplier development role
• Proven track record managing ESD programmes across multiple industries
• Strong knowledge of B-BBEE legislation, the Codes of Good Practice, and SMME development
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities
