Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for a self-motivated Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers and book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Lead outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, while maintaining accurate Salesforce and SalesLoft records and continuously testing messaging to improve targeting and results. This is a remote role within South Africa.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred with quota carrying background.
• Excellent written communication and ability to tailor outreach.

As Enterprise Sales Executive at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

What You Bring

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.
