Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Blockchain Solutions Architect to join our team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will design and implement scalable blockchain systems for enterprise clients, bridging business requirements with technical execution.

You will lead architecture efforts, evaluate platforms like Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum Enterprise, and Corda, and guide smart contract development while ensuring security and compliance. A hybrid work environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design with at least 3 years in blockchain technologies.
• Proven experience architecting enterprise-level blockchain solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain platforms including permissioned and permissionless ledgers.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and security best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end blockchain solutions for enterprise clients.
• Evaluate and recommend blockchain platforms for specific use cases.
• Develop technical roadmaps and blueprints for implementations.
