Enterprise Architect - Centurion

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect in Centurion, working on a hybrid model (3 days in the office), for a 12-month contract within the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate priority setting, project selection, and integration by providing guiding principles and architecture.
2. Ensure alignment with emerging technologies and recommend new technological solutions.
3. Address client needs by leading project phases or consulting with projects and business leaders across various architecture disciplines.
4. Monitor competitive offerings and evaluate their impact on the domain landscape and organization.
5. Identify business impacts of change and associated risks.
6. Develop enterprise-wide solutions that integrate with existing practices, including mitigation and change strategies.
7. Consider system optimization and long-term viability, building models for future scenarios.
8. Optimize architectural strategies across portfolios by adopting an enterprise viewpoint.
9. Apply architectural disciplines across projects and business areas, ensuring trend alignment.
10. Monitor emerging trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
11. Guide the system towards future states considering macro-environmental factors and operational requirements.
12. Identify patterns in ambiguous information and seek opportunities for process and system improvements through agile thinking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman are essential.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture across business, information, application, technology, and security domains.
• Strong understanding of data governance, IT infrastructure, and system integration principles.
